We recommend to buy tickets for Fløibanen online in advance. Remember to choose the right date and correct number of persons. It is not possible to book for a spesific depature time. However, when there are many guests the funicular runs continously
Children under 4 years travels for free with Fløibanen when accompanied by adults (children between 4 and 15 require a child ticket)
From April 1st to September 30th, we do not offer senior tickets to/from Fløyen. Senior tickets are available for persons aged 67+ and valid ID is required when buying discounted tickets.

Discount with the Bergen Card
The Bergen Card gives a 50% discount on return tickets throughout the year. Tickets must be purchased at the ticket office or at the Tourist Information office. Please note that at Fløibanen, The Bergen Card can only be used for return tickets, and is not valid for one way tickets.

Travel as much as you like with the funicular for a whole year! Please note that Fløyen friend can only be bought in the app Fløibanen. If you want to buy a annual pass from the ticket office, the price is 1695,- for adults and 900,- for children and people over 67 years.

Do children travel for free?
Children under 4 years travels for free with Fløibanen when accompanied by adults (children between 4 and 15 require a child ticket).
Do I need to buy a ticket for my dog?
Dogs travel for free with the funicular.
Can I bring a bicycle or kick bike?
It is not allowed to bring bicycles or kick bikes on the funicular, but during summer you can rent mountain bikes from us at the top of Mount Fløyen.
Do you have senior discount?
Senior tickets are available for people over 67 years from 1st of October to 31st of March. Valid ID is required when buying discounted tickets.
Do you accept companion passes?
Companion passes can be used when purchasing tickets at the ticket office. Valid presentation that the companion is needed is required.
