Wheelchairs, strollers & dogs

The funicular’s are easily accessible to people with wheelchairs or strollers. Dogs are allowed and they travel for free with the funicular.

On one depature with Fløibanen, we are able to accommodate up to three strollers or wheelchairs. This depends on the size and design of the wheelchair. When using the elevator, you avoid the stairs and enter directly to the upper compartment.

Fløistuen shop & café as well as Fløirestauranten are adapted for wheelchairs. On the top there are also a free toilet for disabled and a changing table. The viewing platform is also wheelchair accessible. 

On Fløyen there are nice and wide hiking paths that are suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. There are various hiking paths in the surrounding area to Mount Fløyen, look into our suggestions here.
